3decision is a web‑based repository for protein structures, supporting the registration, management, and analysis of proprietary and public experimental and in silico data. It provides tools to browse, search, compare, and superpose structures in different ways, visualize X‑ray and cryo‑EM electron density maps, run advanced queries, and share compound and design ideas.

¶ Navigation in the user interface
3decision currently offers two parallel user interfaces: the current interface and a new user interface in beta. This section describes both interfaces and explains how users can switch between them.
¶ The 3decision homepage
Below you have an overview of the 3decision homepage. From this page, you can quickly start a Basic Search using the search bar, combine multiple queries in the Advanced Search, or access your Projects.

¶ Switching between current and new user interface
The homepage is where you can switch between the old and the new user interface. Activate the new user interface by clicking on the blue icon at the bottom left of the homepage:
Switch back at any time by clicking on the 'Exit' icon at the bottom of the left navigation bar:
¶ Additonal pages and panels
- Advanced Search: Perform advanced combined text and chemistry queries (exact match, similarity and substructure search).
- Search result page: Access the results of any query.
- Projects: Access the list of all projects you have access to.
- Workspace: Display structures in 3D, analyze binding sites, display electron density maps, and superpose structures.
- Information Browser: Access general information about the structure (annotations, projects, experimental parameters, files).
- Annotation Browser: Map structure and sequence annotations onto a 3D structure.
- Pocket Browser: Explore all pockets detected on a given protein structure and associated properties (e.g. druggability and volume).
- Structure registration: Register your own structures or additional AlphaFold DB entries.
- Interaction search: Search for structures containing a specific 3D pattern of ligand interactions.
- Pocket similarity search: Search for similar binding sites across the entire 3decision knowledge base, including proprietary and public structures as well as AlphaFold models.

¶ Title/Subtitle search
Type at least two characters in the text field near the loop on the top of the wiki page to start searching. It will give you all the pages that contains this word.

To easy your search, we added tags to each page. To search pages through tags, click on the label icon right to the search field at the top of the wiki page. Then select the tag you want to search for.
