Every search opens the Search Results page. To come back to the last results from another page, click Search Results in the side menu.
The page has two tabs:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Open in Workspace (n) | Opens the structures in the Workspace. |
| Add to Project (n) | Adds the structures to a project. |
| Download (n) | Downloads the structures or their data. See Download formats. |
| Send to Nanome (n) | Sends the structures to Nanome (virtual reality). Available for up to 10 structures. |
| Invert Selection | Selects the rows that are not selected, and clears the others. |
| Show druglike only | Ligands tab only: shows druglike ligands only. |
| Filter | Opens the filter panel. |
| Advanced Search (k) | Opens the advanced search panel with the current query. k is the number of parts in the query. |
n is the number of structures the button acts on: the selected rows, or all results when nothing is selected.
The structure table has its own set of columns. It doesn't follow the columns you show or hide in the Structures tab.
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Checkbox | Selects the row. The checkbox in the header selects all rows. |
| External code | Opens the structure in the Workspace. A Private tag marks in-house structures, a Model tag marks models. |
| Copy icon | Copies the structure code. |
| i | Opens the Information Browser of the structure on the right. |
Click a column header to sort by it. The default columns are: External Code, Ligands, Title, Ligand ID, Resolution, Method, Projects, Biomol Code, Imported Date, Imported By, Created Date, Created By, Source, Chain code, Species, Gene Primary Name and Protein Primary Name.
To show or hide columns, click the settings (gear) icon at the right of the header. Other columns include:
A ligand is druglike if its molecular weight is between 150 and 2000 Da, it has at least one ring, and fewer than 95% of its bonds are single bonds.
One card per structure, with the 2D drawing of its ligand, the target and the ligand ID. A structure without ligands shows "No ligands"; one without druglike ligands shows "No druglike ligands".
Filter opens a panel on the right. Set one or more filters, then click Apply. Reset clears them.
| Filter | Type |
|---|---|
| Title, Label | Text |
| External code, Gene primary name, Protein primary name, Biomol Codes, Projects, Method, Source, Species, Created by, Imported by | Choose from a list |
| Chain size, Resolution | Range, set to the values found in the results |
| Created date, Imported date | Date range |
| Contains small molecule, Contains druglike ligand, Contains druggable pocket | Checkbox |
Filters only narrow the current results. To search again with other criteria, use advanced search.
