Change the contour level to see weaker or only stronger density, or change the color to tell several maps apart.
Prerequisites: a map is loaded in the 3D viewer. See How to show the electron density of a public structure or How to show an in-house electron density map.
- In the 3D viewer toolbar, open the State Tree.
- Under Density Maps, open the ⋮ menu of the map and select Configure.
- Next to Type, click the settings icon to show the map options.
- Set Iso Value with the slider, or type a value in the box. With Iso Value Kind set to relative, the value is in σ, for example
1 or -2.
- To change the color, click the settings icon next to Color Theme and pick a color in Value.
Result: the map updates as you change each setting.
- See the structure through the map: lower Opacity.
- Use the map's own units: set Iso Value Kind to absolute.
- Go back to the defaults: click the reset icon at the bottom of the settings panel.
